Kids Around the World is a 501 (c) (3) organization and a qualified and active member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability by meeting their strict criteria. This organization audits our operation on a regular basis to make sure we maintain that level of financial accountability and integrity. All funds received through foundations, corporations or individuals are audited on an annual basis. KIDS makes available for your review, a copy of our Federal 990 Form along with copies of our annual audit report, so that you are comfortable in the knowledge that your gifts to KIDS are being handled with integrity, and should you designate donations to a certain area you can be assured they are being handled as you prefer. We are also a member of the CFC, or Combined Federal Campaign. This is a federally created program designed to promote and support workplace charitable donations and philanthrophy through an employee focused program. The CFC allows all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all. Pledges are made by federal, civilian, postal and military donors during a campaign season that runs from September 1st to December 15th. The work that we are able to do is accomplished through the generous donations of individuals, organizations, corporations and foundations. The charts below illustrate where our funds come from and how they are spent. KIDS complies with the American Generally Accepted Accounting principles and the certified independent auditors are very thorough in their work each year. Our fundraising costs include all costs incurred to prepare, print and mail our newsletters and other materials we send out in an attempt to grow our ministry, along with a portion of our staff salaries for the time spent raising funds. From these charts you will see KIDS averages nearly 80% of your donations going directly to fund programs! We work very hard at helping your donations impact the children.
