Kids Around The World was honored to be part of a playground build with Calvary Community Church in Williams Bay, WI. This event came about through the recommendation of one of our board members, Carl Lundstrom, who attends Calvary. After removing their old playground, a team of 9 volunteers and staff members from Rockford joined a team of Calvary pastors and volunteers to begin the exciting process of building their new playground.
The team worked hard, and found many opportunities to laugh during the day, as the winds made installing roofs and assembling the structure a bit of a challenge! But by the end of the day, a large portion of the structure was erected. We’re excited about the impact this new playground will have as Calvary Community Church reaches out to the families and children in the Lake Geneva area. |
