In September we partnered with GameTime and Campus Crusade for Christ to build a playground at National Heroes Park in Kingston, Jamaica. All of Jamaica’s heroes are buried there and the park is the center of many poor neighborhoods and schools.
We were blessed to work with the Jamaicans and learn about their culture. We also had a chance to work with the Early Childhood Commission (ECC) who coordinates kid’s programs and education all over the country. Campus Crusade is also looking at working with the ECC on future projects including AIDS/HIV education. The relationship between these 2 groups is now stronger because of this project.The kids of Kingston now have a safe place to play thanks to the donation from GameTime. We hope you will join us in the future as we go back to Jamaica to build more playgrounds.
